Since going freelance in summer 2025, I have
Grown audiences at Govanhill International Festival & Carnival - an annual anti-racist community celebration - from 5,000 to 8,000, as well as bringing on board two new media partnerships, a new visual campaign and a strategic approach to PR.
Led the launch campaign -across socials, web, marketing and PR - for Dingwall 800, a year-long commemoration of the Royal Burgh which features music, performance, pollinators, plants, exhibitions, gatherings and light installations.
Built - and am now delivering - a brand new marketing campaign for Almond Valley Heritage Centre, a multi-faceted site which welcomes over 140,000 visitors annually, and hosts a rare breed farm, vast adventure play zones and historic heritage artifacts.
Planned the strategic communications for the 25th anniversary of the community occupation of Govanhill Baths comprising a new Friends scheme, a citywide awareness campaign in partnership with TPA, public affairs engagement with elected representatives, and significant press coverage both locally and nationwide.

Please drop me a note by e-mail, LinkedIn or the contact form on this website, telling me a little about your organisation and what you’re looking for in communications support. I’ll then get in touch with you to arrange a time to chat and find out more about the project.
-
No - I can put together a project plan once we’ve met and I’ve done some background reading on your organisation. So even if you just have an inkling that some kind of communications support would be useful, that’s plenty to get started with!
-
I’m usually remote - with meetings and site visits as needed - and in the past year have had clients in Glasgow, Dingwall and West Lothian (where I work with Poncho the Miniature Mediterranean Donkey, pictured).
I’m based in Glasgow, and grew up in the West of Scotland. I’ve previously lived and worked in Dublin, London and Australia.
-
I work across arts, heritage and community-led charities mostly, but I’ve also been involved with healthcare, legal, children and animal-focussed organisations.
-
I usually offer a day rate - up to £300 - depending on the scope of the project, length of contract and overall income of your charity.
